I found this YT video and it was excellent.
Poinciana by Ahmad Jamal, a favorite jazz tune of mine, is one of those compositions I couldn't quite grok the entire drum groove through listening alone.
(Had the same experience with the Cissy Strut by The Meters, but YT had a video demo'ing that drum groove, with some notations, which really helped clarify).
This YT channel/drummer uploaded this video to demonstrate very clearly, both in playing and notation superimposed, what Vernel was playing throughout the song. The keys to a little kingdom for me.
Fairly simple, but a classy groove that does require some 4 limb interdependence coordination.
You'll love this video if you like Jamal's music, this song, and Vernel's playing.

Edit - just found a 2nd YT demo, this one without any instruction or notation (if you read the first is easier to see exactly what the hands/feet do).
