New shiny stuff!

So I headed off to Guitar Center today, a few old cymbals in hand for trade in. Came home with what I thought was a pretty good deal. Bought a brand new Paiste pst5 thin crash and a new Paiste Twenty 20 inch ride. These, of course, go great with my new Paiste pst 5 rock hats I recently purchased. After trade in, it cost me $125 for both the ride and crash. I am extremely happy with both and feel as if my kit is finally where I want it. I can't seem to upload any pics from my iPad so I'll try to post a few either tomorrow or Monday when I can get to a pc but just wanted to share.

Happy Drumming!
Mary

Congratulations Mary, very happy to hear your kit is now complete, that's good news, keep on drumming ;-))

Excellent. Always fun to have new stuff!

Pics Mary, Must see pics.
It is an unwritten rule here.
We all have to see the porn! ;)
Enjoy the pies.

There ya Go! That's better.
Your kit looks so cozy snuggled in its space by the water meter and the electrical box.

Well the bass drum has a big blanket on it so you know its warm

Muffling the sound a little..lol. Small space and bf has hearing problems so trying to keep from making it any worse. Also neighbors really close. Must be working...yet to receive any complaints about noise!

Everyone knows that drums belong in the kitchen, That's where I keep mine.
Right next to the fridge and in viewing range for the 50 inch TV.

Easier to reach the beer that way. Although you might want to think about switching the door hinges so it opens towards the kit...that way you dont even have to get off your throne to reach the six pack...

That's the only exercise that I get!
Walking around the kit to the fridge.

Now, we need a picture of you behind that kit. I'm sure you can figure out how to do it.

I keep the 16" bass drum jungle kit in the Kitchen because the 22" bass drum kit makes cakes fall when I bake. :)
I do have a back up plan.
A 20" bass drum kit!
If I use the high altitude cake baking instructions the 20" bass will not make the cake fall.

Cool to see you slowly building your kit ... the way "you" want it. And learning how to trade in "old stuff you don't need" for "new stuff you do need". Yep, you're a drummer.

Congratulations Mary! Gear's building slowly, & It's nice to get a completed feel to your set. I'm envious of your bass drum right now too. I just want to go back to bed after last nights late gig return.

Bob, my cool snare angle brother, your TV is too big, & with you getting your new Masticks drums soon, you'll have no time to watch it. I still want your tractor :)

I don't have the tractor anymore. I downsized and I moved into an apartment on my sister and brother in law's estate.
I have no desire to own a home anymore.
I love it here.
Pretty soon I won't even own a pickup truck. I am going to get a small 5 door car of some sort. I haven't had a small car in decades.
