Premier Genista vs. Tama Starclassic b/b

As a sort of sequel to my previous thread putting the Genista against the Sonor Select Force, seeming that the Genista is a little higher end, I've decided to put it against the Tama Starclassic b/b. All opinions are welcome, cheers ;)

I'm curious to see what others say about these two kits as well. I did own a Premier Genista kit about ten years ago and I do regret selling it because it sounded so great. After comparing the Premiers to a Tama Starclassic maple in the same room, I sold the Tamas. Later I sold the Premiers after finding a very nice set of Tama Starclassic birch performers which I still have. I think the birch performers and the Genistas were very comparable in sound. The Genistas have the sligthly undersized shells. The Starclassics have a little more rounded bearing edge and the nice die-cast hoops. I haven't played a set of birch/bubingas but I would really like to. Would love to do a side by side with my current birch performers.
