hey there, i have a dw brass piccolo 14x4 snare and i want to get that sound david garibaldi kind.

which head do you think will aproach it to that kind of sound??

I would definately go for a coated head. I'm not sure what David Garibaldi uses but I would recommend a Remo Ambassador, I use one on my 14 x 3.5 Pearl Floating Floating Steel Piccolo.

Also, check out a coated Remo Emperor.

I second that suggestion by Drumatix, Keep it single ply coated and let that brass shell do it's thing.

If you want all the sensitivity, yes, use an Ambassador or G1 coated. If you need a little more durability, try an Evans Power Center, you'll still get a lot of the response with more center thickness (you will lose some sensitivity). Depends what application the drum is filling - main snare in a power pop band, main or aux snare in a jazz setup, etc. But an Ambassador-style head will work well for you in most apps unless you use a larger than 2B stick.
