Default I'm Back!

Haha.
It's been a while since I've done anything in terms of music wise.
I just bought a new guitar maybe 3 or 4 months ago. And with little time I have to play guitar I came up with a little track. Too bad work sucks and takes off my time or else I'd be omega jam sessions 101. Haha.

Anyways. I haven't played an acoustic kit in about a year now. But thanks to my brother in law, he lent me his Roland TD 9. Although I now had something to play with, it was not the same feeling nor sound. Not to mention the fact that playing in here wasn't the best place to play where I live because of neighbors. So that was always on my mind because I didn't want to become the 'bad/noisy' neighbor. I like to play with feeling but since it involves hitting a little harder... you could only imagine the 'TICK TOCK' noises.
But.

WHO CARES!

Here's what I came up with.
Drums: Me
Lead Guitar: Me
Rhythm Guitar: Me

If you liked it than thank you.
If you didn't... then that's okay. I can respect that.

All I got to say is that its been a while.

Pretty impressive, I'd say.

Thank you. That just gives me the feeling that I still have it in me and I can do MORE!

Sounds good to me. Kinda a punk Mars Volta. Mosh pits and stage diving.

Well, of course you can. My only suggestion would be to embrace diversity; don't keep doing that same thing over and over. One way you can do that is using different sounds, you know, different from the heavy metal guitar sound, for example.

Oh, and you know one more thing? I thought the bass was rather under mixed. It could come up some.

But overall I think you're doing very well. You're a talented guy and you've got chops, from what I heard.

I agree with you on embracing diversity. But I only had 2 days to do this so the drum tracks were made up on the spot. As for the guitars... I tried using very little gain but I guess heavy metal sound it came. I think I'm better at drums than guitar though.

Maybe the next song I'll make will be a lot more different.

Oh, I didn't record the bass at all because I don't have one. Major bummer because the bass gives so much more.
Anyways, thanks for your feedback.

If it sounds good to you, fine by me.
= D

But it does have that punk style. I've been listening to Propagandhi and Rebuke lately.
I can't wait to start a new song!

Ha! No wonder I was wondering, "Where's the bass?"
