Default Microphone for drums(help)

I'm buying a microphone for my drums, but only just one microphone for the whole kit maybe a second hand one, coz i'm on a tight budget. could anyone suggest me a good model, and how much will it cost to buy the extra adaptors and usb stuff?

Default Re: Microphone for drums(help)

I use this (https://www.google.com/search?q=Samson+C01U+USB) but it's horrible for drums. Great for voice or simple instruments.

Here is a sample of me recording from that: https://soundcloud.com/ronnie-1-1/funk The drums are through the mic and the music is already a mp3 track.

With a lot of EQ, it sounds ok at best.

I've been looking for a proper mic/interface kit with all the wires, mics and stands but it's at least $600 for something decent (http://www.guitarjar.com/presonus-au...lr-cables.html).

Let me know if there is an other way.
