Is there a place where you can hook up with others and do basic practice over the internet? I believe the gate to getting good, or even awesome goes throuh hours of focused practice regardless of technique, style or gear. I also believe that we, at least I often skip this because it's sometimes lonesome and tedious. bit of company could perhaps counter that and help in logging the hours. So, no guru, no method, no teacher, just drummers drumming in the shed. Nevermind the logistict at this point. If there's will there's a way, right. Thoughts on this?

There is Skype and a thing called tinychat.

That issue that arises is video delay.

Ok, anyone made an effort to deal with delay? I'm kinda lost in this area so I have no idea. One thought; is it neccesary to be in total real time sync? If the delay is a constant could A start a pattern on 90bpm and B start his/her metro in sync with the "broadcast" so A and B plays on time, not in real time but "online"? That make sense?
