Storm Thorgerson, whose company Hipgnosis designed pretty much every rock and pop album cover worth mentioning in the last few decades has died.

That's sad news. Hipgnosis created some of my favorite album covers of all time. I used to love reading their name in the album credits.

Thanks for posting this...don't know if I would have heard otherwise. I had no idea who he was until now, and it's nice to be able to appreciate the man behind so much wonderful art. May he rest in peace.

I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, so his work has always been in the background. Beautiful and ethereal images. An incredible body of work.
