I "fly" crashes off my 48" rack vertical bars using Gibraltar SC-4425MBs. I like these downtubes better than the SC-SBBT downtubes for this application because I run the booms in the straight configuration, and not only are the 4425 downtubes lighter than the SBBT downtubes, their smaller angle adjuster makes for a much lower profile. I currently need a replacement downtube for a 4425MB. I'd hate to have to buy a complete boom arm assembly, because that would be a waste of money and parts because I don't need the boom rod.
It looks like the SC-4425D-1 has the same downtube as either the 4425MB or the 4425B-1. Neither the Gibraltar website nor their catalog specifies the length of that downtube, and if I am indeed correct about the D-1 using a 4425 downtube, does anyone know if the D-1 downtube the same length as the MB, or B-1?
Of course, if anyone has a short 4425 down tube in good shape they'd like to part with, I'd be a buyer.
Thanks a lot.
