Difference between TALENTED and GIFTED??

i think it's just a matter of degree. the way i see it, a talented person has some natural ability or affinity for whatever they're doing and can reach levels of proficiency relatively easily whereas someone who is gifted is like a diamond in the rough. they have an extraordinary talent that puts them way, way above their peers.

But talent can be acquired is the point. Put in enough work and you can become very talented, even if it's a slow process. If you're GIFTED, it comes to you naturally.
No, you cannot acquire talent; with enough work you can become only very skilled. Talent cannot be increased, it can only be built upon. Talent is a natural gift, those two words are synonymous. Dictionary, people:

The only difference is that "talent" is also the name of an ancient monetary unit, while "gift" is not.
