Default Earthquake!

We just had a 5.6 earthquake in, of all places, Oklahoma! No damage I can discern. All the pots and pans on the pot rack in my kitchen were clanging together like chimes.

Just saw that on the news. You guys must be freakin' out. Out here in CA, we don't register anything under a 5.0. Be safe out there - it ain't the shaking that's dangerous, it's the running around and getting hit in a panic that's dangerous!

In 7/8, 5/4, maybe even 13/8, or did they manage to hold down a money beat? I expect you're going to tell me you weren't counting ;) ;)

Hope all's ok.

That's very odd to hear one in Oklahoma. Hopefully everyone is o.k. and there was no damage done. Seems to be some odd areas for earthquakes this year!

A lot of odd natural occurances these past few years, especially this year.Quakes, weather, and now air craft carrier size meteors, narrowly(hopefully)missing the earth.Sounds very si-fi,but its not.

Things started going to hell in a handbasket since we took those moon rocks.;)

Felt it over in NW Arkansas too. Just a quick rumbling feel that lasted a few seconds.

We felt it in the Dallas area around 10:00pm Saturday night. My wife told me the next day that she was sitting in her recliner and thought someone had walked up behind her and started shaking her chair. Funny thing was, I was sitting next to her and didn't feel anything! She didn't teel me until the next day when she heard about the earthquake on the news. I asked why she didn't say anything when it happened. She said she thought she was just going crazy!
