Drum practicing gadgets...

Are there any gadgets out there designed to help you improve - or gadgets for general wrist/hand/ankle strength that can be used for drum purposes?

Examples would be the GripMaster (not specific to drumming), Hansen Futz pedals (are these any good?), the wrist powerball, and various weighted sticks...

Lead pipes and a pillow. (not a joke) just keep the diameter close to that of a stick.

Isn't lead toxic to touch with bare skin?

Oh, was not thinking about people taking that literal. "lead" to my generation (at least in the US) meant heavy.. Any heavy pipe will work. Galvanized, copper or even plastic filled with plaster, or cement, etc. It is for building up wrist strength and quickness.
