Language of drumming question.

Is it good to play first exercise (warm up) with a click (subdivision 16 notes)?

In my opinion, a click is always a good thing for exercise. Train your brain!

It's useful when you're not entirely sure how the rhythms land on the sixteenth notes. Once you get the hang of it, start practicing with an 8th note click, then a quarter note click. You can go for even more sparse clicks for additional timing challenges.
