Several Question for the e-drummers on DTX 500, 550.
1) Is it normal that I should have to customize the settings on e-drums right out of the box in order to get an okay blend of volumes? I just bought the DTX 550 and out of the box the closed HH is silent and the toms are way to load. Yes I did a factory reset. If I raise gain to max I can hear it.
2) Are closed HH sounds on e-drums notoriously low volume requiring lots of changes in gain and volume?
3) Are the adjustments I make to the HH trigger for one kit automatically applied to all the other kits? There are 50 kits in the DTX550. Or do I have to set each one separately?
4) I watch e-drums on YOUTUBE and they sound like real drums, especially the HH. Do you have any settings suggestions for the HH. I'm using the RHH135. Frankly my DTX400 HH sounds better.
