Can someone help me figureout this bass part?

I'm trying to learn the intro and it's a pretty easy basic beat but then he throws something spooky in with his bass drum (6 second mark) and it's been giving me fits all day. Can't figure out if it's a triplet(?) qaudruplet(?) on just the bass or some combo of floor and bass (I've got bad ears). It doesn't sound like it works (I know I'm doing i wrong) it but he manages to make it fit and sound natural.
