Strange Question About EQing

I've found that when I yawn while playing it gives my drums a certain sound. It's hard to describe but I really like it sometimes. Does anybody else have a similar experience as this and know how one could EQ there drums to get this sound if they wanted to?

Hey man, I know what you mean. The same happens when you wear earmuffs or earplugs.. Drums sound like EQ'd, processed.

To answer your question.. You can achieve that sound by recording and mixing/processing (EQ, Compression, Reverb, Noise Gates, adjusting levels, etc.)

Or maybe you could get it with a very, very amazing sounding room with great acoustics, great drums, perfect tuning and great playing.. But i wouldn't know. Hehe.

Just record yourself and play around with different filters and effects until you find something you think works.

Low pass filter and maybe some compression and you should get pretty damn close.
