I know what you're going through. I myself had an ear trauma 3 months ago, with hearing loss (which I got back in a few days), tinnitusES and last but not least hyperacusis. And I can tell you if it doesn't get better, my life will be a real hell on earth.
I'm a piano tuner/technician, and I can't tune pianos anymore.
I can't play drums in a band, my ears can't take it. (Even with earplugs, or earplugs + earmuffs).
I can't go to concerts, because amplified music goes through your body and all the hearing protection in the world.
So yeah, fellow drummers, don't take those issues lightly. Hyperacusis is the cancer of the ears, and at the moment I don't know if it's gonna heal at all.
I might give this Lipo-Flavonoid a try, had never heard of it before. Thanks for the advice!
