Default Need advice on a used kit.

Looking at a used kit locally and really have no idea on its value. Its an older kit, but looks very lightly used. Just going by looks Id say they look like theyre in excellent condition.
They said theyd take $400 for it.
Its a Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage..purple.
Comes complete with stands cymbals, Gibraltar throne, and some practice pads.
Is this a decent kit for a beginner, and is $400 a good price for this older kit.
Thoughts, opinions?
Thanks.

Yamaha Stage Customs are some of the best entry level drums you can buy. From the info you've given, it seems like a pretty good deal if it comes with drums, cymbals, throne and stands.

Any idea what cymbals come with it?

Sounds like all you'd need is a bass drum pedal.

I’m not sure on the sizes but there’s 5 total, including hi-hat.

Base pedal is included.
Thanks.

Thanks.
B8s are entry level that you'd definitely want to upgrade down the line, but great if you're just starting out.

I say $400 for everything you need to get started is a pretty good deal.

That's a decent deal. I'd say go for it if you're ready to buy. I agree that it's one of the best entry level kits on the market.

Very good deal. Jump, go for it. A basic bass pedal is about $30, used.
