I recently purchased my first brass snare drum. The Drum size is "14 x 6" with a 24-strand snare. I am now on the hunt for a good batter head to replace the stock one. I am looking for a focused, controlled overtone, and some warmth. I have been thinking of the EC reverse dot by Evans... but would like some of your opinions. Thanks guys!
