Coated Powerstroke 3 kick head

Again, I have made the final decision to buy a Remo Coated Powerstoke 3 for my Pearl Masters Custom 22" kick. And using the old stand by, Remo Ebony Powerstoke 3 for the front side. I have not read to many threads on this set up for a kick and just wanted some thoughts. I see that Tommy Lee is still using the Coated PS3 as a batter head and I love the sound it gives. The same as the clear just warmer and more fat. Thank you.

Does he use the head or just Trigger? I’m not sure…

On the main kick he uses the head and on the monster kick he uses the trigger.
