Default Taye Studio Birch

Hey, i am looking at this 9 piece Taye Studio Birch kit and i was wondering if anyone knew anything about them. I mean i know they are one of Taye's top of the line kits and that they are suppose to sound amazing, but i was wondering if anyone has played on a Taye Studio Birch. Also, the drums are 7-ply birch shells. Does anyone know how that will affect the sound? I cant remember if less plies means a warmer, fuller tone or not. If anyone knows any of this shit it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
