I use these for very very quiet cymbal playing:

Pintech Plastic Practice Cymbal

I bought a couple similar to those as well and used a couple clamp on cymbal mounts to add them to my practice pad set.

Hello,

my home rehearsal kit is a real drum set with mesh heads on Tom Toms and Bass Drum, Gladstone pad on Snare Drum and:

HQ Sound Off Silencer Pads on Crash and Ride Cymbals ("SO-Cym") and Hi-Hats ("SO14HAT"). For me it works.

The Gen16-Cymbals are very expensive and plastic cymbals are not so nice.

Cheerio
