Default Any opinions on pearl sessions birch from 1998?

I'm thinking of buying a double bass 7 piece pearl birch sessions kit and I was wondering if anyone out there has any input on sound, quality, and what type of tom mounts it has. The kit looks mint and it's from 1998. I already own a maple session custom and I'm very happy with it.

You mean like these??? 'cept these are maple hybrid shells. I didnt know they made a birch session kit back then...hmmm...?

This is a circa 1998 Session DLX maple/mahogany/maple
The 10" rack tom is a '99 Session select with the only difference being that it came stock with Pearl 2.5mm tri flange superhoops and the other drums ('98 Sessions) had the 1.6mm tri flange.

The sound of this kit was awesome. I have moved on and since sold them (regretably)
All the power and attack of a maple shell, but accentuated fattness in the lower frequencies! Get 'em! You wil not be disappointed!!
