Default Place to practice drums in London?

Hello Londoners
I recently moved here (love your city!) and am looking for a place to practice my drums without annoying the neighbors. I live in student dorms.
Have you got any ideas for me that would not involve renting a rehearsal room? I thought of playing outside in some park but, brrr, it snowed this morning! I used to practice outside all the time in Israel, that might not work out here.
Thanks!

I have a kit in Alaska studios near Waterloo.

It's in a cage and I just get it out and rent a room.

Try them.

If you're a student, does your school have a music department?

Not really. I'm 51 and work in the oil business.

I play drums and bass in a few bands etc.

It's a good idea to seek out music colleges though.

Cheers

how much is it to rent a room? It'd be easy for me to get there from my workplace after work, and I'm fed up playing with the silencer pads in my room....
