Rock albums with modern production and a great vintage drum sound

I just have to say that you've named some of the most heavily produced drum recordings. There is no "minimal mic'ing" going on. Now I love those drum sounds, Soundgarden is my template for drum recording, but there are a lot of mics on those drums and a liberal treatment of effects and compression. There is probablly a minimum of thirteen mics on Matt Cameron's drums. I personally worked with one of the engineers on Songs For the Deaf. He was an award winning producer in our hometown. He produced my bands first two sessions back in '92-'93. There were fourteen tracks for my drums alone.

Pretty much all the Clutch albums. They seem to capture JP's big drum sound like they did in the days of old.

This.

Also:

The Dead Weather - Both albums (Jack White on drums)
Band of Skulls - Sweet Sour
Corrosion of Conformity - In The Arms Of God (Stanton Moore drumming)
Graveyard - All albums, but the production is also pretty vintage-y and analog
Rival Sons - All albums
Black Keys - Anything before the album Brothers
The Black Crowes - By Your Side (very good drum sound imo)
The Graveltones - Both albums
