Replacing the DW500 double bass pedal & hihat

Sold my 5000 turbo bass drum pedal and hihat, ready for new hardware. Looking at Pearl and Tama as possible replacements. I like the speed cobra and the Demon direct drive and eliminator from Pearl. Pros/cons??????

I did have one of the original Axis double pedals years ago, had issues with it but liked the direct drive.
