well, after stalking these headphones for about the past 2 years i finally decided to bite the bullet and buy a pair.

they costed me 67 dollars including shipping. well, i dont regret it yet. lol. but my quesiton is has anyone had any real experience with these headphones in a drumming-type situation?

I have read a ton of reviews and only heard good thinigs about them. but id like to hear from other drummers.

What are you using them for?

the main use will be for just basic ipod-listening-to-use. but i also record alot of stuff from my set to my mac, so obviously for listening to tracks while playing drums. and if at all possible, havent tried it yet, and i might not, but as an in-ear monitor?

It depends on how many decibels it cuts. For casual use, it seems fine though.

I'm sure they'd be fine for your everyday in-ear setup. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the E2C's are the single driver, over-the-ear loop style, right? Supposed to be a faily well reviewed set of headphones and for that price you probably can't go wrong.
