Would you make this upgrade?

I have a 1999 Pearl Export Select. I want to know if it would be worth it to change my 1.6mm hoops to 2.3mm Super Hoops? Would the upgrade really be worth it for Exports? I can get a good deal on the hoops so that is why I am considering it. I've always been paranoid that one day my ISS mounts would bend the 1.6mm hoop. The Exports tend to ring a little more than I like (even with a 2-ply head) and I wanted to know if a 2.3mm hoop could help in this respect too.

Not worth it, and wouldn't do anything to limit sustain.
