Recently discovered this young man


he is the newphew of Fred Young of the Kentucky Headhunters fame....he seems to be a monster behind the kit

your thoughts?

Great drummer! So much energy, great groove, some killer fills-love his playing on "Shapes of Things" from that album. Love that band, I'll have to dig that one out sometime soon!

I saw Black Stone Cherry open for Alter Bridge a few weeks ago. They stole the show, and a lot of that was because of John Fred's absolute monster playing. He has tremendous power and drive, and he's also a great showman (standing up while he plays, flipping sticks all over the place and so on). Definitely a guy to watch, and I recommend any hard rock fan go see Black Stone Cherry live if you get the chance. They put on a great rock & roll show.
