Music Genre: Alternative / proggy Rock (Minus The Bear, Russian Circles, Sleeping People, Radiohead..etc...)

I want quick decaying cymbals, clear stick definition on the ride/bell and very little wash.
I want my hats to be crisp and quick also. no sloshy stuff.

Currently Playing:
All Zildjian
14" New Beats
20" A Custom
21" Sweet Ride
22" Medium Ride
(All of these cymbals I am willing to trade in for a better sound)

What I am considering to buy:
14" Quick Beats (OR keep the NB?)
17" Medium Crash, Zildjian
20" K Ride (I am definitely buying this)
I need a 16-19 or 20" effects cymbal that IS NOT a china (need suggestions) Maybe Sabian Ozone?

Help me out!

I'd nix the QB idea since that pairing is heavier than the NBs, which are excellent all-arounders. I would also lighten up that 17 to either a thin or medium-thin (since you're looking for a quicker decay). For an effects cymbal, I suggest you look at Sabian Ozones, Aero Crashes, Zildjian EFX (A Custom or K), or one of those nasty K Custom dirty things that sound so amazing (I forget what they're called). I don't do china cymbals, either FWIW, so check out that list.

I'm primarily a Sabian guy, so I could give you suggestions all day. But I am also pretty familiar with Zildjian stuff. Try these combos out:

14" A New Beats OR 14" A Custom Hats Brilliant
17" A Medium Thin Crash OR 17" A Custom Crash OR 17" K Dark Thin Crash
20" K Ride
18-20" EFX Crash OR 20" Oriental Crash of Doom
