MAC problems

I just got a new mac book. i am having problems making vids. I have digital performer 6 recording software and use a behringer xenix 1222 mixer with a u200 USB interface.
for some reason when i use quicktime 10 to record a vid only my drums get recorded.
I used garage band to edit the audio and video and it worked. I posted it on you tube and the only thing i heard was just the drums. Does anyone have any suggestions for configuring USB codecs so i can record audio and video at the same time. Any input would be great.
By the way the sound quality of the mac is incredible. Thanks in advance.
 
Just a suggestion, but have you tried using the built in iMovie software. Easy to use and it has an upload button too, which makes the whole gig a lot easier.
