I love playing along to Wyclef Jean. I feel like I work a lot of cool beats and grooves into his stuff.

The first couple of Outkast CD's were kinda cool, they had a good variety of stuff on them as far as styles and feels go. (everything from laid back kinda stuff to house/jungle/breakbeat)

I also rather like early wu tang and other method man stuff, cypress hill (its mostly in duple but the paradiddle-diddle jazz stuff blends too well with it.), tribe called quest, snoop dogg, chraze c has been fun as of late.

"A Milli" by Lil Wayne would be pretty fun. The beat is so simple and repetitive that you can just jam over it without competing with it or getting thrown off by it.

So not hiphop, pop OR rap, but I fancy Dave Matthews' Under The Table and Dreaming as the ultimate jam along cd.
