Default I bought a new Snare drum

Here is a Spaun 8 ply vented maple snare drum 14 x 6.5

I wasn't really into the vented snare drum craze, but I picked the USA custom snare drum for only $200. I say it's a pretty unique drum. Lots of snare response and dry attack. Wouldn't say it's the most versatile drum, but it's cool.

That does sound dry. What kind of heads do you have on it?
