Hello again, and since I didn't get any response on my question about the Spaun snare, I had the idea less than 24 hours ago to make my own snare, and I've got everything picked out (pretty much) and it's going to be 7" deep, and here's my question:
If I get a lug that's 3.5 inches long, and two 1.25 inch tension rods, would that be safe to do? Even if I want to tighten down the lugs really tight for some reason? Would the tension rods be too long?
