Hey Crew,

My drum throne is a C.B., (I think that stands for Cheap B@stard) and it snapped off at the place where the wingnut and bolt go thru the height adjustment tube, throwing me backwards, and causing a 1-1/2" gash in the bottom of my left thigh.
I might need stitches, but we'll see.
I whipped out my welding torch and welded (solid) both the break, and the place where the telescoping tube (1/2 way down the throne ) met.

Long story short, I'm a kinda big dude (NOT fat,) but I'm 6'4" and 209 lbs, and that C. B. throne folded up like a cheap envelope on me in the middle of a drum solo in my garage during practice.
Seems damn dangerous to use cheap @ss equipment nowadays. I'll post pics of the broken throne parts, and the big welds I hadda put on it to repair it.
Anyone else had problems with C. B. stuff?

Cheers,
C. P.
