Small World in which we Live

I just left the home of new member G-2, whom I went to see to buy some For Sale snare hoops. Through our conversation it came out that he is friends with the family of the gentleman I had for physical education in the 6th grade. In 1960. 51 years ago. You just never know who you may meet in the drum forum. And a great guy is Geoff with good skills, and lots of drums. Say hi when you see him.

It is a small World. Meeting Andy and Ben yesterday at the London Drum Show made me realise this. I got a text today too from a friend of mine that I studied with who has just been interviewed for a job and whilst she was being interviewed bumped into another girl who was on the same degree course in Lancaster; which is the other end of the country! The bizarre thing is that there were fewer than thirty of us on the degree course and two of them both end up at the same company.

I keep seeing things like this. It's crazy!

Indeed. Makes you want to do the right things so they don't catch up to you.

Now you tell me! Guess I have a lot of work to do now!

I suppose it depends how specialised the degree course is really. Also lucky that you can call your PE teacher a gentleman. I have many other words to describe who I got for PE but I won't.

Yeah it is really weird how many people are connected in some way. It seems often where I realize a friend knows one of my other friends from 5 or 10 years ago.
