Default PLEASE HELP THE "JAZZ FILL"

hey all, ok so i keep hearing the same fill in jazz songs, its incredibly fast and not to loud. is this just an extremely well performed double stroke roll, or is it something else, if you dont under stand ill post an example,

That is a classic, I play that one all the time also. I don't know how to explain it without having the software to show musical notation. I play the floor tom with my right hand like this, 1 rest 3 a 4, 1 rest 3 a 4. Hat on 2 and 4, bass on 1 and 3. then I go into a triplet roll, 123123123123, etc. the roll is RLLRLLRLLRLL

@zakhopper316: Your initial guess is correct. It is a double-stroke roll, performed via a triplet feel.
