Default The Swiss Connection?

Dear friends, I am traveling in Europe this next couple of weeks, and from Monday, I will be in Basel, Switzerland. I would love to hook up with some local musos, and go to a few jam sessions or other points of drummer interest. Do you have any suggestions? I would love your advice.

Thanks,
Casper

Perfect time to be in Basel with the lead up to Fasnacht............ I envy you!

If you are a YouTube member send "redlats" a personal message letting him know you are going to be in town and make arrangements for a hookup is my advice Caspar.

"Old School" Swiss Basel drum club at its FINEST to be experienced firsthand!

I live in Basel, Switzerland.

As far as I know there are two places to go for jam-sessions with other musicians.

1. Red Rocks Basel

Jam-Session every 2nd Wednesday, starting 9pm.

2. Galery Bar in Pratteln (10min drive from Basel)

I remember that there were jam-sessions every 2nd Friday (or every Friday). Haven't been there in ages so I'm not too sure bout that. You best give them a call to see what's up with that.

Can't think of any "spots of drummer interest" really. There are some bars/venues with live music but nothing really special IMO.

Cheers
Kevin

Great link, Stan. Some of that business is just plain disgusting...
