Default Metal Snare ID Help?

Hello all,
Anyone able to offer some insight into what brand drum this may be? 14 x 5.5, apparently Chrome. It doesn't match any brand I search, maybe a cheapie.

Thank you.

Default Re: Metal Snare ID Help?

It's either a Slingerland or a Japanese stencil snare. The lugs are Slingerland but were also used on some of the Japanese kits from the 60's.

If you had the snare in front of you or more pictures the presence of an oval shaped Slingerland badge would tell you for sure.
