Default Dennis Chambers grip flip

Hello,

I was looking for some video footage of DC spinning/flipping his stick around his left hand changing between trad. grip and matched grip and back again. Does anyone know how to do this or have some footage of this? I want to be able to do it fast enough in real time not to miss a beat etc. thanks.

I couldn't find a video of it either.

Jojo Mayer has a simple and slick one on his Secret Weapons dvd. If you're in matched grip, bring your index finger over the stick (stick is now between index and middle fingers) and give the tip a little flip back while rotating your hand to the left into trad position. Get back the same way. So it has a twirl look to it, but is very simple and fast. Not as fast as the tried and true "get your thumb out of the way while you rotate your hand" method, but it looks a little snazzier. Don't hit your hats with it, or you'll drop your stick like I do half the time.

You'll see it in the first 5 seconds of this video:
