16x22 bass drum

Getting tired of the distance between the 12 and 14, so I'm returning to mounting two toms on the bass drum

I tried this set up about a month ago for the first time & now love it, much more comfortable than the traditional 5 piece IMO.

Anyway, here's some pics....

Taken when I was recording recently. Been using this sort of setup for a few years, by far the most comfortable way I've found to mount 2 rack toms.

Sizes:
Bass: 22x18
Toms:10x12, 11x13, 16x16
Snare: 5 1/2x 14

Zildjian Pitch Black Cymbals ( I know, they suck. The hi-hats are good and the ride is decent though)

22 inch Ride
15 inch Hi-hats
18 inch Crash
16 inch Crash
13 inch Splash
18 inch China

14 inch Wuhan China and Factory Percussion 10 inch Cross Crasher

Iron Cobra double pedal and hi-hat (which I got today and am in love with)

Pearl Ultra Grip tambourine, Bell Diablo and Black beauty cowbells

Cymbal stands and throne are PDP

Vic Firth Danny Carey Sig sticks and Pro Mark Joey Jordison sticks

Unfortunately, I think you're right haha.

Im planning on in the next few weeks to switch, probably to the APX line (I love those crashes). I think I will keep the Pitch Black hats as auxiliary hats though.

K7mto, what snare do you have on that set?

good decision mate I'm in the middle of upgrading to the APX's. great cymbals.

I usually use a 1-up-2-down set up but sometimes i miss my second rack tom...*sigh*

I know this thread isn't about cymbals BUT I think your cymbal setup is amazing, can ya give the details please?
