Special Tom Arms needed for Pearl Optimounts?

Looking for some tom arms, but I've noticed lots of models...some of them have uni-lock, some of them advertise ISS Optimounts (some don't), some are ratcheting, etc.

Is there a special model I need to use with my new Optimount-equipped BRX?

ISS and Optimounts are different types of mounts, and it's best not to confuse them... the ISS is a hoop-grabbing mount that is not worth the money you pay.

Any tubular 7/8" tom arm will work with Pearl tom mounts, and there are third-party manufacturers such as Gibraltar and SP that make equally good, if not better, versions of that tom arm. The tom mount is the same whether mounted on ISS, Optimount, or the drum shell.
