Default Gary O'Toole departs Steve Hackett band

For those who have listened to and seen Steve Hackett for the past 15+ years this is a bit of sad news. No news yet on any full-time replacement.

Saw Hackett last year. Closest thing to proper Genesis you'll see. Not sure if he ventures to the other side of the pond. The dude from Kajagoogoo was on bass too Nick Beggs.

Gary O'Toole is an absolute beast and can sing well too

I've seen Steve play several times over the years and Gary's drumming and singing was always amazing. I'm really sad to hear he's leaving.

Last time I saw Steve he had Nad Sylvan on vocals, I don't know if Nad still is with Steve, I hope so because it worked out pretty well.

He does about every year or so.

He is. IMO he's improved vocally over the years when it comes to singing Genesis

Heard the news. Well things change and thats a fact. Sad to see Gary go. Awesome player. I read on Steves facebook that replacement will be Craig Blundell. Also if I remember correctly he will be doing some cruise shows and Minneman wull be playing. Not sure if that is 100% true and maybe someone can confirm.
