What genre is 'Tequila'?

Does anybody know what genre the tune 'Tequila' is? I played it at the weekend but am just wondering what type of music it is. Wikipedia says it is 'surf' music but I think it is more latin sounding.
 
Thanks guys, we played it when the singer went outside for a smoke, it sure got the crowd out shaking their asses.
 
I have to agree, there are a few songs that are not my favorite to play but if the crowd gets up and dances then you are doing your job.

Dancers buy drinks = band gets paid ;-)

SURF?? I'd say YOUR assessment is accurate, sometimes Wiki's get confused.
