I would be greatful if anybody have experience with
Canopus r.f.m vs Canopus Neo Vintage m1 series.
How about widest tuning range, sustaining etc on jazz kit?
I tune medium when playing jazz and real low on small stage groove gigs...

I was thinking Canopus Ash as main groove kit.
Anyone tried/have them?
Shorter tone/drier/low freq but still projection?

Thanks a zillion!

I've owned an RFM and a Neo vintage. The RFM is going to give you the most flexibility. The NV does the dry punchy sound well, but isn't quite as versatile, IMO.

The ash kit projects very well, and is not dissimilar to an Oak Custom type sound. My personal favorite is their Birch line. I've had one of those, too. :)

Thank You :)
Oak, so a lot of pretty hard upper middle and high freq?
Birch I played a lot back in the days...
I thought Ash was a little like birch but with shorter decay and dry...
