Hi everyone.
Can i get some ideas or thoughts about how to play the tune in the attached file?
Somehow it's not so obvious to me. this is a short part of a song i am working on

I'd play a cross-stick/hihat groove like at the beginning of Birdland by the Weather Report.

In this video he's just playing the snare normally, but because it's a quieter acoustic thing I'd do rimclicks.

I guess it kinda depends on how you would want to play it. You could start by playin 8ths on the hi-hat or quarters, depending on how you wanted it to feel.

Thanks a lot guys! Actually i applied both of your recommendations.
At first i felt like it should be something else, but as always, "less is more" applies here to.
