Default NAMM Question

In the NAMM pictorial, on the Ludwig page, there is a picture of a green vistalite set. On the BD head, it says "New - Limited Editon Green Acrylic Shells". I went to the Ludwig website and there's no mention of this. Does anybody know anything about these drums or their availability? Thanks.

Hummm....odd

You're right. The visalite page
http://www.ludwig-drums.com/drumkits/vistalite.php
does not mention green, but there was a green set at NAMM.

And that green kit, and a red one (and a jellybean one!) are in the new catalog.

If I ever were to buy a Ludwig, it would be that Green Acrylic kit. Was super sweet to see.

Maybe bermuda can answer more succinctly, but I believe the red and green vistas will only be around for 2011. They can certainly be ordered now and I assume delivery would be on the same basis as other vistalites, which in my experience, have been more or less made to order. In terms of sizes, I know that 8x12, 9x13, 14x14, 16x16, 16x18, 16x22 and 14x124 are all available. Beyond that I am not sure as I haven't seen the 2011 price list yet.

I liked the new Joey Kramer set, or pretty much any classic series.
