Default merging a seperate audio track on video

I want to post YouTube videos, but my video camera mic makes the drums sound awful, I have a nice recording studio, the question is what software can merge my seperately recorded drum track with my video file, and will the video camera audio still be present?

Which platform are you using, PC or Mac? I'm assuming PC?

Most basic video editing software packages will allow you to have multiple tracks of audio. All you would have to do is mute the default camera audio and input the mixed down track from the DAW software. I used this technique on my latest YouTube video here:

If there were any camera audio, you would only hear the guitar strings and no amplified sound! There is no camera audio present, only Logic audio.

I used iMovie HD, which is a standard Mac application. Final Cut would do it better. I'm not up-to-date on the current PC software, so somebody else will have to fill you in there I'm afraid.

I'm not so hip on PC video editing software either, but I believe you can get a free evaluation version of Sony's Vegas Video which should do the trick. Google should find you a site to download from.

Windows Movie Maker works great.

you can do it on windows movie maker! As long as it's the right format, either WMV or AVI i think (you can get conversion software pretty easily) then just stick it in there along with your audio track, sync up the sound on the video with your audio track and mute the audio track on the video, it's pretty easy to do really.
