Default Marching Snare Drum Fills

Have you ever heard of using a marching snare, seperate from your regular snare as a part of your set to do fills.

Default Re: Marching Snare Drum Fills

I have a marching snare, but I can't mount if due to lack of a second snare stand. If I had it thought I would totally do a quick fill on it.

One issue though, is without marching snare sticks, you can't really get the full sound from a marching snare. You can really smack that sucker with normal sticks but you don't really get the same response as with marching snare sticks.
