Default Gone for a little while

Hey guys!!!!

I've been trying to pop back in here for past few months every single day and seemed to get wrapped up in mounting work.

Business has been great here at Just Drums in VA. We've done exceptionally well and seemed to defeat all odds...especially with the shaky economy and all. We've done very well here in the shop and on the web. It seems that a poor economy doesn't scare off the musicians. =)

What's new here at Just Drums? Let's see...
  • We've hired additional help for the shop and our web site.
  • We've obtained a toll free phone number. 1-866-950-DRUM (3786)
  • We picked up DDrum drums and Stagg cymbals.
  • We've stocked some of the new Meridian and Centennial models.
  • We held a Jeff Queen clinic back in October.
  • And oh yeah, last night we confirmed a clinic in April with GREGG BISSONETTE!

We also have plans to expand and move to another retail space in the same shopping center. We plan on expanding about another 1000 sq ft but that's still in the planning process. Nothing is confirmed yet.

Anyways, since I now have more help here at the shop, I'll do my best to make time every morning to stop in. I miss coming into the forums each day.

Hope all is well with everyone and thanks to everyone who has supported us!

Wow, Shane...you started off small and grew, your business did, your experience and I guess your passion grew, too.
Great news, nice that everything`s working well for you!

Congrats, Shane! Within the next 6 months (that's when I'll have enough money saved up for all the gear I need) you will be getting some business from me sure. I'll be ordering online of course!

Call or email us. Don't order blindly thru the web site.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I can't stress enough how difficult it is and how much work it is to keep this running. It's all good and we're doing fine but in these times....it ain't easy. This is why we appreciate SO MUCH your business. The box stores and online stores don't need (or deserve IMO) your business. Your local shops do.

Expanding more room?! Sweet!
I just might have to check out that clinic also. I think this is the first time I've ever really been grateful that I live in central Virginia...

But out of curiosity, would you be considering hiring new help any time in the future?
